How to Change a ProForm XP 600 Battery

The ProForm XP 600, an 18-inch stride length elliptical exerciser, comes equipped with a console that tracks your activity. It is powered by four "D" size batteries. The console has pre-programmed routines that you can follow for your workout. If the batteries run low, the console will not operate correctly. Replace the battery if the console is not behaving normally.

  • 4 D batteries

      Remove the two screws on the battery cover in the back of the console.

      Remove the battery cover.

      Lift the old batteries out of the battery compartment.

      Insert the four new D batteries into the compartment, following the negative and positive terminal icons.

      Replace the battery cover. Install the two screws that hold the cover in place.
