1
Acquire enough sand to fill the bag, which will be 5 to 10 lbs. less than the weight listed on your bag (i.e. 90 lbs. of sand for a 100 lb. bag). You can get sand from a local home improvement store.
-
2
Fill three or four heavy-duty garbage bags evenly with the sand. Tie or seal the bags shut when filling is complete.
-
3
Empty the contents of the Everlast punching bag that is to be restuffed, and place the bag on the floor. Make sure you have enough space to roll the bag around on its side.
-
4
Carefully place the sand-filled garbage bags in the punching bag one by one.
-
5
Use the old rags or T-shirts to fill up any empty space at the top of the punching bag.
-
6
Zip up the punching bag and roll it across the floor repeatedly to evenly disperse the sand inside the bag.
