How to Use Silicone Earplugs
Swimming is a great way to exercise, but the amount of water that gets in your ears can cause swimmer's ear, an infection of the middle ear due to a buildup of moisture that causes bacteria and fungi to grow. Silicone earplugs prevent swimmer's ear by comfortably fitting inside of the middle ear, and are disposable to reduce the spread of germs. In addition to swimming use, silicone earplugs are suitable for reducing air pressure while traveling by plane as well as blocking noise while sleeping or attending concerts.
