1
Remove the strap from your BodyBugg to expose the USB port. This can be done by holding the device with the armband test facing up. Push the right side of the armband downward until it separates from the strap. Visit the ApexFitness.com website for a diagram showing how this is done.
-
2
Plug the USB cable into the BodyBugg and then into your computer. Ensure that the computer is powered on and not in "sleep" or "hibernation" mode or the device will not charge.
-
3
Leave the BodyBugg to charge. If the battery is fully depleted this will take approximately three hours. Once the battery light flashes green the device is fully charged. A fully charged BodyBugg will last about five to seven days before needing to be recharged.
-
4
Do not allow the battery to fully drain before recharging it again. When the battery light is amber you have fewer than 24 hours before the device is drained. A red flashing light indicates the BodyBugg cannot collect data as the battery is drained.
-
5
Charge your BodyBugg whenever you remove the device. Users typically only need to remove the device during a shower or when sleeping, if the device is bothersome.
-
6
Contact the place of purchase or the manufacturer if your BodyBugg no longer charges. You may need a replacement battery from the manufacturer.
