Instructions for a Hackamore Knot
Tying a hackmore knot may seem like a daunting challenge, but it's actually a pretty simple procedure and one that you can quickly master. The hackamore knot is sometimes used on bridles for horses, so if you're a horse enthusiast, it may be a good idea to learn how it's done. Once you've figured it out, you can use the knot to secure the bosal to the horse's snout.

Pull the right "ear" through the left "ear" with your left fingers to create a new loop.
-
3
Reach through the loop with your left finger and thumb to grab hold of the left ear's right strand.
-
4
Take the strand your right thumb has held the entire time through the strands of the two ears, and then use your left fingers to pull that strand through the new loop. Roll the ears up and down to smooth the knot.
