1
Install a lift kit on your golf cart, in addition to oversized off-road tires. This will give the cart additional ground clearance that it will need when traversing rough terrain. Exercise care, however, as raising the golf cart will heighten its center of gravity, making it more prone to tipping. Golf cart manufacturers typically produce their own lift kits that bolt onto the cart's existing suspension.

Replace the rear seat or golf cart rack with a cargo bed. This generally does not require you to install a new body onto the cart, as the cargo bed will mount just above the rear fenders of the cart. This will provide you with added storage space on your cart that you can use to carry a cooler to your favorite hunting location, and a good way to bring your kill back to civilization.

3
Mount a winch onto your cart, to gain more versatility than just the ability to pull a stuck cart out of a mud hole. If you've ever taken a particularly heavy animal when there was no one to help you lift it into the cart, you'll know how useful it can be to sling a cable winch over a tree limb to raise your trophy animal. Winches that are rated for use with ATVs are sufficient for use with golf carts.
