Airsoft M4 CQB Crane Stock Battery Installation

Airsoft guns are a special type of gun that shoots tiny pellets. You can use these guns as part of an organized game similar to paintball, or as a way to practice your shooting skills. The Airsoft M4 CQB Crane Stock is a special model of gun with a grip that makes it easier to hold and aim. Before you can use this gun, though, you must install the batteries into the proper compartment.

      Ensure that the safety of the gun is engaged before you attempt to install the batteries to prevent it from accidentally going off. Turn the gun upside down and pull on the cover at the bottom of the stock to remove it. Underneath this cover, you will see a screw attaching the battery cover to the stock.

      Remove the screw holding the battery cover in place with the Phillips screwdriver. Place the screw aside. Turn the gun back up and push on the two tabs on the bottom lip of the stock on either side. Pushing these tabs will release the battery cover and it will pop off.

      Place the battery inside of the open compartment with the plug and wire on the top side. Once the battery is inside, connect the plug to the input located at the top of the compartment. Pick up the battery cover and carefully place it back over the compartment with the tab inside on one side of the battery.

      Push down on the battery cover until it snaps back into place. Insert the same screw through the hole with the screwdriver. Tighten the screw to secure the battery cover in place. Place the soft cover back over the battery cover to protect it and prevent it from coming loose.
