- Clean, dry towel
Instructions

-
1
Pour a small amount of alcohol-based bowling ball solution cleaner in a clean bowl.
-
2
Dip a clean hand towel into the cleaning solution.
-
3
Wring out the towel over the bowl to rid it of excess solution.
-
4
Using small circular strokes with the towel, wipe down the entire surface of the bowling ball with cleaning solution.
-
5
Allow the ball to dry completely before placing it back into its case.
-
6
Clean the ball with boiling water. Though not necessary before every scuffing, you can also wash your ball in boiling water to help reduce the amount of oil buildup. Place the bowling ball into the sink, and fill the sink with clean, warm water a couple of times a month. Drain the sink and then pour boiling water slowly over the bowling ball. Allow it to cool (you can do this by rinsing it with cool water) before drying it with a towel.
