How Do I Clean a Clear Bowling Ball?
Cleaning a clear bowling balls isn’t much different than cleaning a solid colored bowling balls because they both are made from the same solid materials. The only difference between solid and clear bowling balls is the clear bowling balls will show more oil and sweat smudges caused by your hands holding onto the bowling ball. Getting the clear bowling ball clean is not a difficult task as long as there is a good cleaner on hand and a cotton towel.

1
Place the bowling ball on the rubber mat. This will prevent the clear bowling ball from rolling around too much as it is being cleaned.
-
2
Pour the rubbing alcohol onto the cotton cloth until it is lightly dampened and then wipe the ball down until all oil smudges have been removed.
-
3
Take the ball polish and pour a small amount onto a clean cotton cloth. Wipe down the bowling ball with the polish to help remove any extra dirt and oil from it that might have been missed while cleaning it with the alcohol. This will give it some added shine.
