How to Install a Blackhawk Storm Sling

The Blackhawk company manufactures tactical accessories for military and law enforcement personnel. The Storm Sling is a sling designed for M16 and M4 tactical rifles. Using a single point of contact, the adjustable Storm Sling allows for quick and convenient access to the weapon. The sling holds the weapon out of the way when it is not needed.

      Open the quick attach-and-detach "MASH" clip located on the end of the Storm Sling.

      Place one end of the quick attach-and-detach clip through the mount on the universal sling adapter. The adapter is positioned at the back of the receiver; it is held in place by the threaded tube of the adjustable stock.

      Close the quick attach-and-detach "MASH" clip by pushing both sides together so the ends overlap.

      Connect the quick-detach buckle on the Storm Sling. Adjust the length of the sling with the sliding buckles to achieve a proper fit.
