How to Install the Super Sling

The Super Sling is a gun sling utilized on a rifle during hunting. Although you can use the Super Sling to carry the firearm, its central purpose is to provide the hunter with ballast with which to steady the rifle. Wrap the Super Sling around your arm when aiming to steady the rifle. This will increase accuracy and improve your success rate. The Super Sling attaches to the swivel base or stud on the bottom of your rifle.

Instructions

    • 1

Locate the Talon Swivels on either end of the Super Sling strap. The swivels come standard with the sling. The swivel consists of a loop at the bottom. A spring loaded pin is located between the loop and the top stud pin. Press the spring loaded pin in and rotate the stud pin away from you until it is at a 90-degree angle to its original position.

Thread the stud pin through the swivel base or stud on your firearm. There are two swivel bases, one under the rifle butt and one on the forestock.

    • 3

Press the spring loaded pin again and rotate the stud pin towards you 90 degrees until it is in its original position to close the swivel. Ensure that the stud pin is correctly positioned in the hole to prevent the rifle from falling off the sling.
