1
Measure the mounting clamp location onto the side of the enclosed trailer. If you are mounting to a camper-style trailer, consider mounting near the doors or windows, where you have clear fields of view with the light. Mount the lights in the rear at the doors if mounting to trailers such as toy haulers so that you have extra light to guide the gear and equipment into the trailer at night.

2
Mark the mount areas by holding up the mounting clamps to the wall of the trailer and using the marker to show the clamp's screw holes. Make the holes with the drill.
-
3
Screw the mounting clamps to the side of the trailer by holding the light handle against the trailer wall and placing the clamp over the handle. Screw the clamp down so that the handle is secure but not so tight that it cannot pivot or move. Keep it tight enough so that it is secure but still able to move side to side to take advantage of the flood-like quality of the light.
-
4
Add silicone caulk to the screw tops and edges of the clamps to ensure a watertight seal at the screwed-out holes.
-
5
Remove the lights by pulling the handle up and out of the clamp and store them inside the trailer when driving.
