How to Install Trijicon
The Trijicon ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Guide) is a compact sighting system designed for AR15-style rifles. Available in a wide range of magnifications, the ACOG was originally developed for the U.S. Army for use on the military M16. It uses both radioactive tritium and external fiber optic light gatherers to illuminate the internal red dot reticle for easy visibility in low-light or night conditions. Its large ocular lens allows both-eyes-open aiming. This feature, combined with the bright red dot reticle, facilitates faster target acquisition and quicker shots than a conventional scope. All lighting functions of the ACOG are derived from self-illuminating tritium and transmitted ambient light so no battery or electronics are required. The Trijicon ACOG mounts to the TA60 rail standard on any flat-top civilian AR15-style rifle.
