How to Carry a Boot Knife

A boot knife is designed to be worn under the pant cuffs, and in a sheath or holster that wraps around the boot upper. To safely and effectively carry the knife, be sure the sheath is firmly attached to your boot. Tuck it under your pants once secure. Before carrying any concealed weapon, consult with your local law enforcement agency to get the laws for concealed carry in your jurisdiction.

Instructions

    • 1

Wrap the holster around the upper of the boot. Most holsters use hook-and-loop fastener materials. Wrap it so the holster is snug around the upper of the boot but not so tight it affects your movement or circulation.

    • 2

Slide the holster so the knife hangs to the outer side of your leg.

    • 3

Slide the knife into the holster, and pull your pants leg down so it conceals the boot top, holster and knife.
