How to Carry Your U Lock

U-locks are an effective way to help prevent the theft of your bicycle. Despite their effectiveness, may bicyclists find them too awkward to carry. They can't be hitched onto the seat post like cable locks and don't fit conveniently in a back pocket. Many cyclists opt to carry the u-lock in their messenger bags or leave them locked to the bicycle rack at work. If you don't want to carry a bag and still need the added security, you can use a u-lock holster. There are many different styles of holsters that slide onto a belt and make carrying the lock more manageable.
