How to Keep Skateboard Bearings Inside of a Wooden Wheel

Skateboards are made up of a wooden board attached to wheels. The wheels on your skateboard are either made up of plastic or wood. The wheels stay on the skateboard because of bolts holding them to the bearings. When the skateboard is moving, the wheels spin around these bearings, allowing them to rotate. If the wheels are wobbling on the board, the bolts holding the wheels should be tightened. You can do this with little hassle and minimal knowledge of your board.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the skateboard over so the wheels are facing up.

    • 2

Fit a socket wrench into the wheel bearing to get the right size for the bolt.

    • 3

Turn the bolt clockwise to tighten it.

    • 4

Spin the wheels to make sure that the bolt is not too tight. If the bolt is too tight, the wheels will not be able to spin.

    • 5

Repeat this process for the other wheels on your board.
