How to Make a Tech Deck Tabletop Ramp

You can make your own tech deck ramps to perform and perfect your tricks. Make ramps, decks and pipes by cutting pieces of cardboard to the right size, and then taping them together. Use paint or markers to make the ramps appear to have a wood grain, or paint them to look like cement.

Instructions

    • 1

Cut pieces of cardboard to size. Make the ramp sides in the shape of the letter "C" to create the arch for you ride up and down. Cut both sides at once to ensure they're identical.

    • 2

Make the ramp surface by cutting another section of cardboard to fit. Tape it securely to the sides, underneath your ramp.

    • 3

Insert pieces of cardboard inside the ramp to reinforce your design. It will last longer during regular use.

    • 4

Add a bottom and secure it in place using tape.

    • 5

Paint the cardboard to mimic the look of wood, or you can spray it with stone texture spray paint so that it looks like cement. Buy this paint in any craft supply store.

Use colored markers to replicate graffiti on your ramps.
