How to Get New York Yankees Tickets

Whether one lives in New York City or is just visiting, Yankee Stadium is a popular place to watch a baseball game. The New York Yankees play 81 regular season home games each year from April through October. Aside from the baseball game, the stadium features the Yankee Museum, and Monument Park, honoring Yankee greats from the past like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Joe DiMaggio. Tickets are sold by the Yankees as season tickets and for individual games. Tickets are also widely available on the secondary market from websites like StubHub and TicketsNow.

Go to the Yankee Stadium ticketing page on Ticketmaster. Follow the link for an individual game, choose the desired number of seats and section, and Ticketmaster will determine what seats are available. Tickets for individual games go on sale a few months before the season. The actual on sale date varies by year, and tickets to all regular season games go on sale simultaneously. Individual game tickets are also sold at the Yankee Stadium box office, Ticketmaster outlets and Yankees Clubhouse stores.

Go to the Yankees ticketing site on Stubhub. Tickets are generally available on Stubhub, sometimes at more than face value, and other times below the price on the ticket. Stubhub is the official ticket reseller of the Yankees, so the tickets can be resold at any price, bypassing state laws capping the resale value of tickets.
