How to Write a Letter to the New York Yankees

The New York Yankees are the major league baseball team from New York City. They have won the most championships of any team in professional sports, and have a roster filled with some of the best players in the game. Write to the Yankees to communicate with your favorite player whether it's Derek Jeter, C.C. Sabathia or Alex Rodriguez. Or write to Yankee management to offer your opinion on the new Yankee Stadium, or express your sports opinions to the Steinbrenner family.

      Decide which Yankee you want to contact. Go to their official website at Yankees.com and view a list of current players by selecting the "Roster" tab.

      Scroll to the bottom of the Yankees' website and select "Help/Contact Us." This redirects to a Frequently Asked Questions page. Select "Other Frequently Asked Questions" and a sub-list appears. Pick "Have another question not listed here? E-mail us..."

      Ignore the form that appears on the newly opened "Contact Us" page. Beneath that form is the address to send mail to the Yankees.

      Write your letter. People appreciate being complimented, but it is also good idea to express why you are writing to the person selected (e.g. you like Nick Swisher's style, you watched Mariano Rivera save a game on your first date, you supported General Manager Brian Cashman's trade deadline moves, etc.).

      Place your letter in a stamped envelope. Write "C/O" followed by the player's name above the address. Place the letter in a mailbox.
