Bad Seats to Get at Ohio Stadium

Ohio Stadium is home to the Buckeyes football team. While the stadium was built in 1922, it has undergone several renovations over the years, increasing the seating capacity from 66,000 to almost 100,000 seats. Seating is very good in this stadium, but there a few blind spots in the stadium where you cannot see much of the action unless it is on your end of the field.
  1. Right Side Pressbox

    • When you buy tickets and sit on the right side of the press box, your views are limited from the endzone to roughly the 15-20 yard line on your end of the field. The press box extends outwards and above the luxury suites. You can only see most of the action of the game once the teams drive down to your end of the stadium. Section 29c of the stadium layout shows the seats that are up against the press box area.

    Left Side Pressbox

    • When you buy tickets and sit on the left side of the press box, your views are limited from the endzone to roughly the 15-20 yard line on your end of the field. The press box extends outwards and above the luxury suites. You can only see most of the action of the game once the teams drive down to your end of the stadium. Section 13c of the stadium layout shows the seats that are up against the press box area.

    Endzone North Rotunda

    • There is a small section in the North Rotunda of the Endzone near sections 5c on the left and 4c on the right sides. There are a few designated seats that do not offer a clear view of the field. You will be at the stadium's highest point on the seating chart, overlooking the entire field, but not able to make out every detail of the game going on.
