How to Make Your Own Rugby Dream Team
Instructions

-
1
Decide if your rugby dream team is going to be used in a fantasy league or if you are building the team for your own use. Check the rules of drafting for your team if you are following a league.
-
2
Determine if your team can include players from the current season or any rugby players who have been part of a professional team.
-
3
Place several players into a pool for one position on your team. For example, have a pool of Locks that include Martin Jonson, Colin Meads and John Eales.
-
4
Compare each player based on the games played, called caps, points scored as well as the age and weight of the player. Age is only a factor if the dream team contains current players.
-
5
Choose one player for the position based on the sum of his achievements. For example, John Eales was part of two Rugby World Cup wins while Martin Johnson has only been part of one win. This can have favor lean toward Eales for your pick.
-
6
Fill out the remaining positions, 15 in total, of your team using the same methodology.
-
7
Monitor your players throughout the season if you are using current players. Track their goals or saves depending on position. Track the same statistics of players that were in your original pool.
-
8
Switch out players based on their performance to keep the dream team in top form.
