Held at 1249 12th Street in Martin, this event is famed for its long and fast course. Also organized by the Furrin Group, it costs members $15 while non-members pay $20. The event is held in June. The course in Martin is long and winding, with plenty of obstacles to weave in and out of, plenty of tight turns and long straights to get some speed up.
GVSU Autocross Weekend
-
The GVSU Autocross Weekend takes place at the Grand Valley State University in Allendale. It has two full autocross points events, one on Saturday and another on Sunday in the beginning of July. Entry numbers are limited. The event takes place in the university's parking lot and features plenty of turns and few straights so it is a track that tests a driver's ability to corner.
MSU Autocross Sat and Sun
-
East Lansing plays host to this autocross event in early to mid-August. The Furrin Group organized event takes place at the Mt. Hope and Farm Lane Michigan State University site. The event will set up on Friday before Saturday and Sunday races. Entry is free for both races.
Metro Cruise Autocross
-
The Metro Cruise event takes place in late August in Grand Rapids. The event was founded in 2004 and takes place along 28th Street. Along with the road race event are a number of fun family events in the area. These include a swap meet, million dollar car display and a car corral.
Bikers for Babies Autocross/Dragrace Event
-
This charity event takes autocross racers back to Martin for a regular autocross and drag event. As well as prizes for the best autocross driver and the best drag driver, a special prize goes to the best average in both events. Money from the event goes to charity and has a number of big sponsors. It takes place at the same site as the US 131 Motorsports Autocross No. 1 at 1249 12th Street. The event takes place in mid-September.
My Auto Import Center Autocross
-
The final event in the autocross calendar is the My Auto Import Center Autocross event in Muskegon. This event takes place in mid-September at the My Auto Import Center on 1860 E. Sternberg Road. Entry numbers are limited because of capacity and time. Competitors should register early to make sure they get on the roster. Vintage cars for this event must be from 1980 or older. The course does not change so it is great for testing new cars on tried courses.
