1
Cut a piece of necklace string long enough to go around your neck with ample room to hang down.
-
2
Drill holes all the way through a dozen or more buckeyes. Buckeyes are incredibly hard nuts. Drill a 1/4-inch hole all the way through each of the buckeyes you will use to make your necklace.
-
3
Place a buckeye on the necklace string. Then place scarlet and gray beads on the necklace in any order you like.
-
4
Continue to place buckeyes then scarlet and gray beads on the necklace until it is filled with however many buckeyes and beads you would like the necklace to have. The more buckeyes and beads you use, the heavier the necklace will be and the fuller it will look. Tie the two ends of the necklace together to form a knot.
