How do I Adjust Pull Weight on a Bear Warrior 2?
Three main factors affect an individual's abilities to use a bow and arrow: the length of the bow, the draw length and pull weight. Bow length is measured from tip to tip and affects the overall weight, ease of handling and draw length. The draw length is the distance between the bow and arrow slot when at full draw. Compound bows, such as the Warrior 2, must be configured to meet an individual's draw length. Pull weight, or draw weight, is the amount of force required to pull back the string.
Things You'll Need
- 5/32 inch hex wrench/key
- Bowstring wax

Instructions
-
-
1
Wipe the cables and cable guard with a cloth to remove dust.

2
Apply bowstring wax to string and cables using your fingers.
-
3
Massage wax into cables with a leather rag.
-
4
Locate the upper limb bolt on the top half of the bow, above the riser.
-
5
Use hex wrench to turn the bolt. Turn clockwise (to the right) to increase draw weight. Rotate the key counter-clockwise (to the left) to decrease the draw weight.
-
6
Repeat with the lower limb bolt. Ensure both bolts have been rotated the same number of turns in the same direction, for example, that both bolts have been rotated twice to the left.
