How to Use Nitro Oxide in Engines
Things You'll Need
- Mechanics hand tools
- Assorted metal brackets
- Assorted metal screws
- Fuel T-fitting
- NoS solenoid switch
- Assorted aircraft-grade hoses
- Bottle of NoS
Instructions
-
Install the NoS Bottle
-
1
Place the brackets in the trunk. Ensure the bracket is angled to 45-degrees off axis when facing the front of the car. Tap the bracket holes and, when you have a pilot hole drilled, place the bracket over the holds and screw it down.
-
2
Remove the throttle linkage and the throttle body. Install the spray bar nozzle facing the plenum. Reinstall the throttle body and linkage to re-integrate the throttle linkage.
-
3
Disconnect the negative pole on the battery. Then install a length of braided hose on the inlet side of the solenoid using Teflon tape. Then install a braided line to the outlet of the solenoid. Next, place the solenoid mounting bracket and install the solenoid.
-
4
Route the hose from the solenoid back through the body ports, and connect the hose to the NoS bottle in the trunk. Tie the hose off every 2 to 3 inches to ensure the hose is not going to chafe when the body vibrates.
-
5
Wire the system to the two switches that are necessary to activate the system. Mount the in-car switch first. This will be armed when the driver is ready to accelerate. Then wire the fuel solenoid switch. When the system is armed, and the throttle is fully opened, the later switch activates the solenoids and releases NoS into the system.
