How to Properly Secure a Basketball Goal Bracket to the Roof

Roof-mounted basketball hoops allow players to enjoy the sport of basketball in spaces that don't allow for a standalone hoop. One of the most important steps in setting up a roof-mounted bracket is to properly secure the bracket to the edge of the roof. To properly secure the bracket, you must attach it to one of the roof's trusses with lag screws that will provide enough support for the hanging hoop.
