1
Spread your fingers out close to the aperture to widen the opening of the boxing glove. Spray the inside of your boxing gloves with a household odor eliminator, such as Febreze. Odor eliminators get rid of unpleasant smells from fabrics such as clothes and household fabrics. Many odor eliminators also have anti-bacterial properties which can prevent bacteria from multiplying inside the gloves.

2
Lay the boxing gloves down or hang them from a wall hook to dry. Loosen the apertures of the gloves and widen as much as possible. This will ensure oxygen will reach the interior to allow for air drying.

3
Direct the nozzle of a glove deodorant spray at the gloves and apply on the outside and interior. Glove deodorants are available from sporting goods stores and help keep sporting gloves, including boxing gloves, clean and fresh.

4
Place one cup of baking soda into each clean sock after every bout or training session. Put a sock in each boxing glove. Leave for a few hours. Baking soda is an effective means of neutralizing unpleasant odors and sustaining fresh smells.
