      Buy a team sticker or decal from the booster club, spirit store or campus shop. If there aren't any for your team, you can have one printed via an online retailer.

      Choose a spot on the helmet that's appropriate for decorating. Avoid the face mask and any other lettering or numbers.

      Place stickers on the helmet to customize it. In addition to team stickers, you can use stripes or stars in team colors to make a one-of-a-kind helmet.

    Cleats

      Buy a pair of football cleats from a sports apparel shop. They should be all one color so that you can decorate them according to your liking.

      Pick a color of spray paint that complements the team's colors or jerseys. For contrast, try gold or silver spray paint as well. Place the cleats outdoors, on top of newspaper, and spray them with a coating of the spray paint.
