How to Set Up the Double Wing Offense
The double-wing offense is a bold strategy that could yield exciting results, and similar versions of the formation have seen success at the high school level and, recently, at the professional level with the Miami Dolphins' wildcat formation. The formation, which Glenn "Pop" Warner invented in 1912, is good for sweeps, traps and play-action passes. The double-wing is risky, but if set up correctly, might produce a game-changing play.
