How to Restore Ping Putters

Over the years, constant wear and tear on the golf course can cause your Ping putter to become worn and damaged. However, rather than going out and spending a large amount of money on a new putter, you can restore your putter back to full working order in a much more affordable way. This would involve removing all of the rust that has accumulated on the putter over the years and cleaning the rubber handle grip.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the head of your putter into cola and leave it for a few hours. The acidity of the cola will remove all of the rust from the putter head. Clean the cola off the putter using a cloth and warm water.

Pour warm water into a bowl and mix dish soap into it. Dip the scrubbing brush into the warm, soapy water and brush lightly around the grooves in the grip. This will remove any dirt or debris that has built up in the grip. Dry the grip thoroughly with a towel.

Get an old rag and dip it into some golf club polish. Carefully rub the polish over the driver head and up the shaft until you reach the rubber grip. Repeat this process until the putter is shiny. Leave the putter to dry for around an hour.
