The Big Bertha Titanium 454 is available in six different loft models. Among them are the 8-, 9-, 10-, 11- and 13-degree loft models. The HT model also has 13 degrees of loft. Every version of the club has a lie of 56 degrees.
Composition
-
All of the Big Bertha Titanium 454 clubs have an RCH 65W 454 shaft. They are available with four different types of shaft flexibility. These include the light, regular, firm and strong flexibility shafts. The lighter the shaft, the less you feel the impact of the ball when you strike it during your shot. Firm and strong shafts let you feel the impact of your shot more clearly. The face is made from titanium in a thin layer so that the club's weight is reduced. The top of the club head features a V-Shaped icon intended to help you line up the club with the ball.
Size
-
All versions of the club have a head that measures 454 cc in volume. All of these clubs are also 45 inches long and have a swing weight rated at D2. The shaft weight depends on the flexibility of the shaft. The light flexibility shaft weighs 61 ounces, while the regular flexibility shaft weighs 62 ounces. The firm shaft weighs 63 ounces and the strong shaft weighs 65 ounces.
Other Specifications
-
The strong shaft models have a low torque rating, while the other models have a middle torque rating. The kick point is low for the light shaft and high for the strong shaft. Kick point is middling for the regular and firm shafts. The 8-, 9-, 10- and 11-degree loft versions all have a square face aligned evenly with the ball. The 13-degree model has a 1-degree closed face and the HT model has a 4-degree closed face. The closed face models help you avoid a draw on your drives.
