Women's S2 Cobra Driver Specs

Cobra manufactures a wide variety of golf clubs, from drivers to irons to putters. The S2 women's driver provides ample force with minimal weight. As of March 2011, the S2 cost about $200, while newer versions of the club, such as the S3, cost about $300.
  1. Shaft and Grip

    • The Fujikura Fit-on shaft weighs 50 grams and has a women's flex. It has a low kick point, mild torque and high trajectory. The shaft uses "Swing-Sync Design Technology," which allows for flexural rigidity and provides feedback to the player. The shaft can be customized, and its grip weighs 50 grams and is ribbed.

    Head

    • The S2 features a traditional head shape with a "highly engineered head structure." This provides for optimal transfer of energy. When the club hits the ball, it makes a strong sound. It contains a milled rhombus face insert with nine points in the "Sweet Zone," or the optimal place to hit the ball. This increases the ball speed of your shots when struck properly. The flight technology is adjustable for either open, neutral or closed swing paths to allow for greater specificity of shots.

    Basics

    • The club is 44.5 inches long with a 13-degree loft. Its "O" setting is +1.5 degrees, its "N" setting is 0 degrees and its "C" setting is -1.5 degrees.

    Appearance

    • The driver is made of titanium and has a blue Physical Vapor Deposition finish. The head is bright blue and contains white and light-blue markings.
