How to Customize Vaughn Goalie Pads

A well-respected manufacturer of goalie gear for all levels, Vaughn Hockey helped revolutionize leg pads worn by goalies by incorporating the pads' ability to rotate around the legs when going down on the ice. Vaughn allows goalies to customize their Velocity pads and gloves (as well as other merchandise) from the comfort of their own home through the company’s online customizer.

      Log on to Vaughnhockey.com, the company’s official Web site. Click on the Goalie Gear Customizer icon, located on the right of your screen. When the page loads, click either of the following options from the left side drop-down box to begin: Pads, Blockers or Catch Gloves. Select “Pads.”

      Select which series appeals to you. Generally speaking, the first series offered will be the company’s pro series, top-of-the-line model. A white template of your selected piece of gear will appear. At that point, click on the area you would like to “color.”

      Click your desired color once the color options pops up. The section of pad you selected will now appear as your desired color. After that, click on another area in order to color that particular section (select either the same color, or a different color).

      Continue coloring the face of the equipment piece until all areas are accounted for. You must select "white" if white is desired and not leave the area blank; otherwise, you won’t be able to proceed with the process.

      Finish coloring all remaining sections of the gear piece in your desired color scheme until the entire piece is colored. When complete, select submit and fill in the related fields to send your custom work to the Vaughn factory. A company representative will contact you regarding your order.
