Hockey Camps in the St. Louis-Chesterfield Area

The popularity of hockey in the St. Louis, Missouri, area has drastically increased since the St. Louis Blues joined the National Hockey League in 1967. Before then, the most popular sports in St. Louis among children were soccer and hockey. The city had only one indoor hockey rink and many children who had never experienced ice skating. Today, indoor hockey rinks abound, and many host summer youth hockey camps.

    St. Louis Blues

    • The St. Louis Blues Youth Hockey Camps, as the name implies, is a product of the team's players and coaches. They host two youth hockey day camps each summer right in their own practice facility, attached to a sports-related mall, with access to the Blues staff and more. The 52,280 square-foot arena seats 600, with standing room for 200 more, so there is plenty of room for parents, friends and family to watch their children. Participants will spend more than two hours on the ice each day, plus a dry-land training session. Players must be five to 15 years old, and all skill levels are welcome.
