How to Design Your Own Hockey Uniform

A hockey player's uniform mimics the team colors and mascot. Uniforms can be plain, solid colors, of various arrangements of horizontal or vertical strips. Every team has its own unique logo and design featured on the jerseys and the player's indivdual number portrayed in large font on the back. Select if and where your want to place any stripes and in what colors. Look at some professional hockey jerseys if you need some ideas. Stripes are frequently placed around the cuff of the sleeve, the bottom of the shirt and around the chest. After you have made your choice, use your colored pencils to sketch in your jersey colors.

Pick a spot on the jersey for your team logo, such as over the chest to prominently display.

    • 5

Select the size and font that each player's name will written in on their jersey. Add an outline of where each player's number will be placed on the back of their jersey. The last detail to add to the jersey is any sponsor logo.
