1
Remove any insoles from your Sidi boots. Stuff the insides of the boots with crumpled-up newspaper. White Sidi boots do not require much more care than black Sidi boots, but they do get dirty faster and need to be cleaned often.
-
2
Mix warm water and mild liquid hand soap in a sink or bowl, or squeeze some soap onto a wet cloth and rub it together to create a lather. Do not use cream or saddle soap, as they will clog the leather.
-
3
Squeeze any excess water out of the cloth and clean the boots with it carefully. According to MotoNation, this is the easiest way to care for Sidi boots. Rub the cloth all over both boots.
-
4
Dip a small brush, such as a nail brush, in the soapy mixture to scrub away dirt and grime from the boots. A brush will help make your boots clean and white by removing dirt from deep down in the material.
-
5
Wet a paper towel in clean water to remove the soap from the Sidi boots. Dry the boots using a clean, dry paper towel, or let them air dry.
-
6
Remove any stains that the regular soap and brush did not get rid of by using a household cleaning magic eraser or erasing pad. These erasers are safe for use on leather and remove dirt and grime buildup without harsh chemicals.
-
7
Wet the eraser or erasing pad under the faucet, and squeeze any excess water out. Gently erase any spots on the boots. The eraser will remove even the toughest dirt marks from white boots without damaging them. Rinse the eraser after use and keep it for future use. You can reuse it until it loses shape or tears.
