Run two to three steps, staying on the balls of your feet. Bend one knee and pull it straight up toward your stomach in a hurdle after completing the last step. Land on both feet and push your body into the air, raising your arms above your head.

Look at a point high above you as you jump. Keep your arms above your head, and begin to turn upside down as you reach the height of your jump. Maintain a straight position with your whole body to begin the front layout.

Push through the air, driving your heels forward to return yourself to an upright position. Twist your whole body 180 degrees as soon as you are right-side up again but before you hit the floor. As you twist, follow the path of one hand with your eyes: If you twist to the right, follow the left hand; if you twist to the left, follow the right hand.

Land on both feet at the same time. Bend your knees as you land to absorb the shock. Place your arms straight out in front of you to maintain your balance.

Straighten your knees, and raise your arms above your head to finish the skill.
