How to Locate APA Leagues

The American Poolplayers Association was founded in 1979 and is a governing organization for amateur billiards. The association runs pool leagues across the country and hosts a National Championship each year. In addition, the APA runs an amateur championship open to both members and non-members. APA leagues include both 8- and 9-ball games. APA allows players interested in beginning a new league under its auspices (franchise) to fill out an online application to become a league operator.

Instructions

    • 1

Access APA's League Locator. This application can be found on the official website of the APA.

    • 2

Click on your state or province. Regions that do not have any leagues are shown in grey -- if you live in one, click on the nearest blue state or province.

    • 3

Click on the county nearest you with a blue dot, which indicates an APA league. A pop-up will appear with more information about the league.
