How to Mount Rossignol FTX 105 Ski Bindings

Rossignol is a snow sports company that produces a large range of skis, snowboards, boots, pole, bindings, clothing and other snow sports equipment. It is a French company that has operated since 1907, and its headquarters are located near the Alps mountain range. Rossignol FTX 105 ski bindings can be fitted to skis made by other ski manufacturers.

      Attach the toe end of the binding to the toe of your ski boot. Once it is firmly in place, find the center mark on one of your skis and line it up with the center mark on the bottom of your ski boot.

      Place the ski boot on top of the ski and align the ski boot center mark with the centerline of the ski. Make sure you align the boot and binding with the ski perfectly.

      Use the marker pen to draw circles onto the ski through the screw holes in the bindings. These will be your markers when it comes to drilling the screw holes.

      Remove the boot and binding from the ski and repeat steps 1 to 3 with the other boot and the other ski. Once both skis have markings to drill, you are ready to move on.

      Drill the holes into the skis where the markings are no more than halfway through the ski. To create the holes, use a drill piece that is slightly smaller than the screw you will use to attach the binding to the ski.

      Fill the holes with a strong adhesive and put the toe end of the binding in place onto a ski. Screw the binding down securely by hand using a screwdriver. Repeat this process on the second ski.

      Pick up the heel end of the binding and attach it to a ski boot. Put it in place on the ski so that the toe is pushed into the toe end binding.

      Check that the ski and ski boot center lines are aligned, and then mark circles through the screw holes of the heel end binding using the marker pen.

      Use the power drill to drill holes into the skis where the screw holes have been marked. Remember to use a drill piece slightly smaller than the screw used to attach the binding, and to drill no deeper than halfway into the ski.

      Put a strong adhesive into the screw holes and then place the heel end of the binding in position on the ski. Use the screwdriver to screw the binding onto the ski. Repeat the process for the other ski and your Rossignol FTX 105 ski bindings will be mounted.
