How to Mount a Binding to a Snowboard
Snowboards use bindings where the boot either is strapped in or clipped in. Because a snowboard is simple in design, it is a straightforward procedure to mount the bindings to the board. Almost every snowboard comes with a set of predrilled holes that allow the binding to be placed in a variety of positions on the board. No matter if you ride goofy or flat, the board has the holes to accommodate the stance.
Things You'll Need
- Ratchet with sockets or a power drill with sockets

1
Set the board on your work table and clamp it down with the C-clamps, making sure it is top-side up.
-
2
Align the snowboard binding over the holes as dictated by your stance. There are left and right foot bindings, so be sure to check the indicator markings and place the bindings accordingly.
-
3
Insert a screw into each binding screw hole, making sure to include a washer per screw.
-
4
Inspect each screw for any plastic left over from the factory, Peel it off, if present.
-
5
Tighten the screws using a ratchet and socket or a power drill and socket. Get the screws as tight as possible, as snowboard screws are notorious for coming loose after riding.
