How to Stretch Snowboard Boots

Snowboard boots do not actually stretch out but become "packed." This means they will not stretch lengthwise but can be stretched about half a size in width. This comes from using them, wearing them and bending them in certain areas. If they still do not feel comfortable after doing this, then you might need a larger pair.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert your feet into the snowboard boots. Stand up completely to insert your heel into the boots, pushing down.

    • 2

Walk around for at least a half hour to create some flexibility in the boots to help them stretch out, or become "packed."

    • 3

Sit down on a bench or stand against a wall. Tap the heels of the snowboard boots against a wall or the side of a bench. Start out lightly, then start to pack the boots in harder.

    • 4

Practice a little snowboarding while wearing these particular boots. This should especially help stretch them out because they are being used.
