The Canton Soccer Club was started in 1978 with the goal of providing soccer teams and leagues to the young soccer players in the Canton area. Affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA), as of 2011, the Canton Soccer Club has grown to offer teams and leagues for players from the U5 to over 50 age groups. More than 3,000 members take part in the club's leagues.
Leagues

The club offers leagues in three categories: Recreational, Select/Premier and Adult. There are three divisions of the recreational group: The Great Lakes Soccer League is a recreational outdoor league offered in the spring and fall for U9 and above boys and girls. The House League is for U6 to U8 recreational players and also has games during the spring and fall. Kick-Start is an introductory program for U5 players.
In the Select/Premier category, the Michigan State Developmental Soccer League, the Michigan State Premier Soccer Program, the Midwest Regional League, the Michigan Football Club and the Olympic Development Program are available.
In the Adult category, there is an Adult Rec League, a Women's Competitive League and a Men's Competitive League.

Canton Soccer Club also offers a variety of training programs, including Pre-Celtic Academy for ages 3 to 5, Celtic Academy for U5 to U9, goalkeeper training for U7 to U18, street soccer, and summer soccer camps for U5 to U14. The club also offers individualized training for all ages.
Hours

The club office is closed Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On Tuesdays the office is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays the office is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Coaches/Staff

More than 270 coaches work with the Canton Soccer Club. The coaches include former pro players, former college players and licensed coaches.
The club also has a full-time club director/director of coaching, a full-time club manager, three technical directors and numerous volunteers.
