  1. Frederick Football Club

    • The Frederick Football Club was formed in 2004 with the amalgamation of three premier soccer clubs in the area, the oldest of which was the Frederick Excel Soccer Club, established in 1989. Frederick FC is represented by dozens of boys and girls soccer teams, both competitive and recreational, with players ranging in age from 6 to 18. Competitive players progress through the club’s academy program (U6-U11), the junior program (U12-U14) and the senior program (U15-U18). Many go on to play at the college level; some have even traveled overseas to play. Recreational members of the club play in the “classic program” (U10-U18) which involves less commitment in terms of training and travel, and is less expensive. In 2010, registration fees and annual dues for competitive players range from $795 to $1450; fees are higher for older players whose teams play, train and travel more often. Yearly fees for recreational players range from $150 to $450.
