1
Lay the contents of the package on a flat surface. Identify the two crossbars and four uprights (the uprights will be marked LH and RH). Take one crossbar and one LH and RH and put them facing upright, so the slots are upwards. Arrange the pieces so that the uprights' crossbar attachment tubes are adjacent to the crossbar ends. Slide the end of the crossbar into each opening, and measure the upright to ensure that the crossbar is fully inserted.

2
Drill a 5/16-inch hole in each of the marked pilot holes of each upright into the crossbar. Use the provided 3/8-inch self-threading hex bolts to attach the uprights fully. Don't over tighten the bolts. For each goal, you'll use eight bolts -- four on each upright.

3
Assemble the "T" connectors onto the backstay tubes using the 5/16-inch U-bolts and lock nuts. The backstay tube is the long, bent piece that forms the back of the net and allows the goal to stand. You'll have to create four of these, two for the right and left uprights of the goal.

4
Insert the two ends of the backstay tube assembly into the two attachment tubes located on the top and bottom of the uprights. Use one of the long 5/16-inch hex bolts (2 5/6 inches) and lock nut to secure the the backstay tubes. With the help of a partner, tip the goal into playing position. Now loosen (only slightly) the U-bolts on the "T" connector then take the backstay spreader tube (labeled "J") into the "T" connector on each end. The entire goal should lay flat on the ground. Insert and tighten all of the bolts.

5
Attach 26 net attachment clips to the goal: 16 on the crossbar and 5 on each upright. Slip the clip into each slot and twist 90 degrees so that the opening is outside of the goal (on the back of the crossbar, outside of the uprights). Cut the hook and net fasting strap into lengths of appoximately 6 1/2 inches.
-
6
Drape the net over the goal and backstay tubes and attach the net into the clips. For spaces where the net seems loose, use lengths of the fastening strap to attach the net. Your net is now ready for playing, but for additional safety and strength, you can anchor the rear parts into the ground or attach safety padding to the uprights. It's a good idea to secure the included auger hold downs for natural fields, or something with weight on turf.
