Champro Portable Soccer Goal Instructions

As proven by the appeal of the FIFA 2010 World Cup, the popularity of soccer in the United States has risen to levels never seen before in the country. While the United States soccer team continues to make progress in international competition, the talent pool and competition among American youth also continues to rise. Soccer trainings often consist of small five- or six-a-side games, aimed at improving quick passing and dribbling in tight spaces. Champro portable soccer goals are available in either 6 feet by 4 feet or 3 feet by 2 feet sizes, and are great for small games due to their portability and easy setup.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a spacious grass or artificial turf area to play soccer. Create boundaries for your game or use lines if the field is already marked. Use only one half of the pitch for small games. Place cones in the four corners to mark the sidelines and goal lines on both ends. Place one additional cone at the center point along each of the sidelines to divide the field into halves.

    • 2

Remove the two goals from the nylon carrying bag one at a time. The goals will pop open into place, similar to a pop tent used for camping. Place one goal at the center point of each of the goal lines so that they are facing each other.

    • 3

Anchor the goals into the ground so they don't fall over or get blown away in the wind. Use one stake on each side of the goal and hammer it into the ground. If the ground is soft enough, you can step on the stake with your foot until it is deep enough to secure the goal. If you are playing on artificial turf, place a gym bag or any heavy object behind the goal instead of using an anchor.

    • 4

Remove the stakes when you are done playing soccer. Break the goal down by pushing the crossbar to the ground until the goal lies flat. Twist the goal so it forms a figure "eight" and collapses, leaving a circular flat object. Stuff into the nylon carrying bag and repeat with the other goal. Zip the bag shut so that the goals do not pop open and escape from the bag.
