How to Donate Soccer Cleats
Instructions
-
-
1
Contact local schools if you have a lot of cleats to donate. Check that the school has a soccer team in place. Tell the school authorities that you have cleats that you would like to donate.
-
2
Donate the cleats to a local goodwill or thrift store. Goodwill stores accept cleats then sell them at a low price to bargain shoppers. In many cases, the money the goodwill store makes from the sale is used to fund other community efforts.
-
3
Contact local community organizations that provide assistance to those in need. These organizations can then, in turn, get the cleats to those in the community in need. To find local community organizations, contact the United Way.

4
Send your cleats to the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which has a program called “Passback” that allows you to donate your gear to individuals and charitable organizations that need soccer gear. Mail the cleats to the address below. The U.S. Soccer Foundation does not cover the cost of shipping. If you don't want to pay for shipping, contact the U.S. Soccer Foundation at (202) 872-9277 to find an organization in your area that needs cleats. You can also look through the “Passback Bin” on the U.S. Soccer Foundation website to locate an organization.
