Instructions

    • 1

Eject the magazine. Check the chamber to ensure that your SCAR is not loaded.

    • 2

Position the EOTech HWS on the Picatinny rail. Shoulder the SCAR 16 to find the optimum location for your personal preference. The two most common positions for the HWS are directly above the trigger loop or directly above the magazine well.

    • 3

Tighten the retention hex screws to secure the HWS to the rail.

    • 4

Bring your SCAR 16 to a rifle range, and zero the EOTech HWS. The range you use to zero the sight depends on the average distance at which you intend to use the SCAR 16. Fire three-shot groups into your target. Adjust the windage and elevation screws with the screwdriver as needed until the sight is properly zeroed.
