1
Put a towel down on a table. Pull out the magazine from the stock of the airsoft gun. Cock the slide of the airsoft gun.
-
2
Place a pillow on the towel in front of the airsoft gun. Aim the airsoft gun at the pillow and fire the trigger to verify that there is no projectile inside.
-
3
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the slide at the top of the airsoft gun to the body of the airsoft gun--the screws will be either at the top rear of the slide or on each side of the slide.
-
4
Use your fingers to pull the slide off of the body of the airsoft gun by pulling it backwards and then upwards. Put the slide down on the towel.
-
5
Use your fingers to pull the firing assembly out of the top of the airsoft gun. Put the firing assembly down on the towel. Blow out the top of the airsoft gun with the compressed air.
-
6
Hold down the firing assembly with one hand. Grab the end of the spring while holding needle-nose pliers in the other hand. Pull the spring out of the firing assembly using the needle-nose pliers. Dispose of the spring properly.
-
7
Blow out the firing assembly with the compressed air. Insert the replacement spring into the firing assembly.
-
8
Replace the firing assembly to the top of the airsoft gun. Replace the slide over the firing assembly. Reattach the screws. Put the magazine back into the stock of the airsoft gun.
