How to Customize Track Cleats

Track athletes wear specialized shoes made of a lightweight material with a base plate at the forefoot. Spikes are inserted into this plate for improved traction on rubberized tracks to keep runners from slipping. Track and field spikes come in different lengths and types. For those who want to build their own cleats, whether for fun or for purchase and wear, Nike created a fun and interactive way to customize track cleats.
