Bolle Shark Specs
-
Multiple Lens Color Options
-
The Shark goggles come in four lens options: citrus, lemon, vermillion or clear. Bolle recommends citrus for partly cloudy conditions, and lemon for snowy conditions or late afternoons. Vermillion provides a high-contrast view with 37 percent light transmission, which is also particularly useful on overcast days. The clear lens is designed for use at night. All lenses protect your eyes from UVA/UVB rays up to 400 nanometers. (See Reference 1.)
Flow-Tech Venting
-
Flow-tech venting controls airflow through the goggles to prevent steaming on the lens and to give your face a breeze. Specially designed positioning maximizes airflow while preventing snow from clogging the vents. (See Reference 1.)
P80 Plus/Carbo Glas Lens Coating
-
Bolle's proprietary P80 Plus/ Carbo Glas coating protects your lens from scratches, while also preventing fogging for optimum visibility. (See Reference 1.)
Double Polycarbonate Lens
-
In addition to the anti-fog lens coating, the Shark's two stacked lenses create a thermal barrier that also prevents fogging. Polycarbonate construction ensures that your lens is sturdy and long-lasting (See Reference 1.)
OTH Strap Design
-
"Over the Helmet" strap design means that your goggles will fit perfectly onto your ski or snowboard helmet without any problematic air gaps between the goggles and your face. The elastic strap adjusts to suit any head or helmet size. (See Reference 1.)
Price
-
Bolle snow goggles can sell for up to $100, depending on the features. The Shark is equipped with the basic necessities, but for about $25, it's a deal compared to some of the higher-end models. (See Reference 1.)
